Seen by many as Schubert\\\'s most famous Lied, Erlkonig \\\"The Elfking\\\" is a story involving four characters; a poet, setting and ending the story, a father, whom is riding fast and anxiously on a horse, carrying his sicken child, and the Elfking, whom lures the child and tries to take his life away.
